2004 Atlanta Falcons season : ウィキペディア英語版 | 2004 Atlanta Falcons season
The 2004 Atlanta Falcons season was the franchise's 39th in the National Football League (NFL). It was the first year under head coach Jim Mora. Under Mora, the team went 11-5, advancing to the playoffs. They easily handled the 8-8 St. Louis Rams in the divisional round before advancing to the NFC Championship, only again to be stopped by the Philadelphia Eagles, who would go on to the Super Bowl. Following the defeat, Atlanta did not make the playoffs again until 2008, where they drafted future Pro Bowl quarterback Matt Ryan. He would later lead Atlanta back to the NFC Championship in 2012 and the closest that Ryan got to the Super Bowl was a narrow loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The team led the NFL in rushing in 2004, with 2,672 yards. ==Offseason==
